ABOUT THAT DOG

Hello, my name is Jayde and I am the trainer at That Dog!

I live with two Dalmatians, a five year old deaf one called Sherlock, and my six month old hearing puppy Kevin! Although I work mainly with dogs I have a variety of experience with different species including cats, snakes, lizards, rats, ferrets, birds of prey, rabbits, and even porcupines! 

My qualifications include:

Obviously understanding the theory of training and behaviour is important but I have the practical to back it up. My deaf dalmatian is my stooge dog for behaviour cases but has also taken part in many sports such as agility and hoopers, holds certificates in activities such as scentwork and man trailing, and is the only deaf dalmatian that holds a trick champion title in the world. 
Kevin is still a baby but demonstrates in classes, comes on our social walks, has started his scentwork career and holds a couple of tricks too. I hope to do some agility, or gundog work with him depending on what he takes to!

I have hundreds of thousands of views on social media and have written for a variety of websites and magazines, raising awareness for Deaf Dogs! I've been running my own business since 2017 and have worked with hundreds upon hundreds of different dogs.
